20/10/2015 – We continue with the series of 6 articles on the SANEPLAN information system by addressing a new module of this innovative software.

How are maintenance operations addressed?

  • The system allows the realisation of necessary maintenance operations, both preventive and corrective, to ensure the proper function of the sanitation service.
  • It allows one to manage the maintenance of every network element as that of the WWTP, so as to define maintenance ranges and operations.

Each of the elements has its corresponding forms that facilitate the creation of the work orders: The elements where a maintenance operation has been carried out will be graphically highlighted on the map, in order to facilitate operation monitoring.

As support elements for field work, SANePLAN allows one to download the work order in PDF format. Additionally, an APP has been developed for Android mobile devices with specific maintenance functionality.

Moreover, SANePLAN allows handling of incidents that may occur within the sanitation service, concerning corrective maintenance. The main feature of this function allows access to mobile devices, so that incidents can be notified immediately, which reduces repair time.
